ARS T&TT and ReCharged enter into a joint Memorandum of Understanding

On Febuary 8, 2018, ARS Traffic & Transport Technology (ARS T&TT) and ReCharged Technologies, Inc. (ReCharged) entered in a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU allows for the collaboration on opportunities related to ReCharged on-street electrical vehicle charging stations and the integration of the ARS T&TT camera sensors into these fixed charging stations in Canada. This working collaboration is of a joint venture and sets the path for a formal Joint Venture Agreement.

ReCharged was established to help expand the number of free public electric vehicle charging stations in urban areas, where residents in high-rises have little to no charging access. The company designed their stations to enhance awareness and education around charging infrastrcuture. They also provide additional incentives (without costing taxpayers), to help increase adoption and dramatically improve air quality. By combining awareness with incentives, the company expects to drastically increase the number of EVs in the community.

This exclusive partnership sets the path for a complete suite of Smart City e-charging, parking, and enforcement solutions, to be delivered to the Canadian market. ARS T&TT and ReCharged are excited to be working together on innovative solutions that will address multiple issues which municipalities and the urban public sector in Canada face on a daily basis.
