In July 2024, the public transport authority of the Dutch provinces of Groningen and Drenthe has awarded Surtronic a 5-year contract for the operations of 400 public transport information displays, including support and maintenance.
During the contract period Surtronic will upgrade those displays to the latest hardware and software technology. Surtronic operational support services will guarantee that the PIDS displays at the bus stops will continuously provide up-to-date travel information for the passengers.
